About this file

This document contains an amendment with questions and answers regarding a solicitation for modular furniture at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The solicitation requests bids to furnish, deliver, and install eight 6x8 single staff cubicles with wood grain laminate work surfaces. It clarifies that the main work surfaces for some cubicle configurations will be flat rather than waved due to leg space constraints. The contractor must attend a site visit to understand the scope and furnishing requirements being requested by the Air Force. The selected contractor will be responsible for disposal or relocation of existing furniture as needed.

Question and Answer Amendment 002

Question: Drawing P20 -11TH CPTS, 6X8 Single Staff Cubicles, is the correct quantity two (2) or eight (8) Answer: The correct quantity is eight (8)

Question 2. Please clarify for CLIN 0001AA, 0001AB, 0001AD, 0001AC, 0001AK, 0001AM, 0001AQ and 0001AN that you now want veneer work surfaces in place of laminate work surfaces?

Answer 2. Wood grain laminate

Question 3. Please clarify for CLIN 0001AA, 0001AB, 0001AD, 0001AC and 0001AK that the main work surface is now a wave shape. Again, I would recommend against this as it reduces the leg swing space in the station which is already tight especially in the 6x6 stations.

Answer 3. Please refer to table below.
