QUESTIONS &ANSWERS RFQ: FA527019QA063
QUESTIONS (Q) AND ANSWERS (A) 29 Aug. 2019 For
Solicitation Number: FA527019QA063 Uninterruptable Power Supply Procurement and Installation at Fort Buckner, Okinawa Japan
Q1. Par 6.5.1 states "Conform to the safety requirements contained in the contract for all activities related to the accomplishment of the work." This statement does not define the safety requirements, and I did not see the requirements defined within the released documents. Without a clear requirement / definition, vendors will not understand how much may be involved to support the safety requirements that might be included in a contract award. Please define the safety requirement?
Par 6.5.2 states "Develop and provide ... a safety plan". Is there a specific requirement (content, format) for the safety plan?
There are various references that could be followed for safety requirements. OSHA is a good example. Would this project include safety requirements as identified in Army manual 385-1-1?
A1. The safety requirement will be up to the contractor and their safety policy
