SUBJECT: Request for Information (RFI) for Replace Boiler Plant Doors and Frames, Bldg. 873, 857, 1073 and 1409 on Camp Kinser /Solicitation Number: FA5270-14-R-0023

Project Numbers: LXEZ 13-1048 Title: Repair Building 870, Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan

1. We have received questions from a contractor and responses are as follows for your information:

1 Statement of Work (SOW), section 4.1. .

Some of signs on the doors are missing. Would the government provide the accurate QTY which is missing?

Does the government provide the signs? or, does contractor have to provide the signs?

If contractor does, would the government provide the specification for the signs?

The resultant contractor will remove and re-install existing signage on doors.

Refer to Revised statement of work dated 21 Apr 14, section 4.1.1 and 2.

2 SF 1442 It is required to provide abatement and dispose cost for asbestos and LBP;

however, without the result of the sampling, we can't estimate.

In other words, we can't provide the accurate information.

Would the government provide the QTY for abatement and disposal for two items, asbestos and LBP?

Quantity of each abatement and disposal of asbestos and lead base paint is established at line item 0002 and 0003.
