The technical evaluation will assess durability and realistic appearance of the proposed facade. 09/13/2022
Government answers provided in red.
*Please Note: The 10-page (max) requirement for your proposal does not include your past performance. This is the narrative space in which you will provide how the technical aspects of your solution will satisfy the MOUT site requirement.
1. If Welding is included/required for your proposal, please reference the following:
Welding Requests. Welding permits are required anytime welding is performed outside of an approved welding shop. Permits are issued by a fire inspector at the Base Fire Prevention Office, bldg. 4300 or at the job site. Normal duty hours are M-F, 6:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Telephone numbers of the fire prevention office are 228-4333, 6025 or 6027. For other than normal duty hours, the welding permits may be issued by the "on duty assistant chief of operations", bldg.4821. Fire Station #1, phone number 228-4757. Permits may be issued for a maximum of 30 days at a time.
After completion of the welding operation the permits must be turned back into the Base Fire Prevention Office. If welding, cutting or brazing operations are required inside any confined space areas, the permit will require approval and signatures from the Base Fire Prevention Office, Wing Safety and the Bio-environmental Engineering Office. It is the contractor's responsibility to comply with these requirements. A confined space is any space large enough and configured so that a worker can bodily enter and perform assigned work, has limited and or restricted means of entry and exit (e.g., tanks, vessels, silos, storage bins, hoppers, manholes and pits are examples of spaces that may have limited means of entry), is not designated for continuous human occupancy.
