Site Visit Clarifications

1. Is Coalition one of the previous four 144 strand fiber cable in the scope? If not what is the strand count needed? Yes. (4) 144CT SM Fibers for new install (1) UNCLASSIFIED,

(1) COALITION, (1) SECRET, and (1) TS….at this current time, there is NO existing COALITION fiber that is what I meant. The bottom line is (4) 144ct SM fibers.

2. Response states “””From Building 578 (CENTCOM) to Building 501B (then 501D) is 8,600ft. “”” Is this a continuous piece of cable from bldg. bldg. 578 to 501D or does this cable terminate in all three building? If terminates in all three bldgs.. more hardware is required. From Building 578 to Building 501B is 7100ft. The fiber then leaves the datacenter at SOCOM to Building 501D which is 1500 added feet per SOCOM Techs.

Terminates in ALL 3 buildings (578, 501B, and 501D for the Hybrid. Yes, more hardware is required.

3. Are the pathways entering the building to the telecom rooms complete conduit or do the cables freely route in open space/ceilings? The TS and Hybrid fiber are the only cables that go into a conduit (PDS) when it enters the building. The other cables are free in the ceiling or floor to the Building 501b datacenter.

4. Will a transition splice be allowed from indoor to outdoor fiber? NO….Indoor/outdoor cable only

5. Amendment 4 question 14 was answered Corning. Is there a warranty required? No warranty was previously requested. 20 years
