Question 1: There is a discrepancy between demo notes and door schedule. If you go to plate A0.1-2-3 and compare note 17 demo door and frame to Door schedule 103B Bath doors, schedule is calling out HM frame type A note *1 re-use existing frame. Also details for HM frames 6 A4.1 & 7 A4.1 are showing conditions that occur @ aluminum windows & hallway door applications. Please clarify.
Answer 1: The walls that these frames are in are being demolished, see note 27 on sheets A0.1, A0.2 and A0.3. These frames will be demolished with the wall.
New frames will be installed. The door, frame, and hardware schedule has been changed to show this as well. Detail 12 has been added for the door head and jamb.
A new sheet A4.1 has been incorporated.
One additional note, the partition walls between the wash alcove and the shower room has one layer of double rock on the wash alcove side. This is not mentioned in the drawings but the entire wall is to be demolished and is considered incidental.
