SPACE LAUNCH DELTA 30

MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
SUBJECT: XUMU 18-1091; REPAIR Demolish Space Launch Complex-2 (SLC-2) Buildings 1619, 1624, 1632
1. On 21 July 2021, A site visit was conducted at SLC 2 Vandenberg Space Force Base. During the site visit, the following events occurred:
a. All Offerors met at the Vandengberg SFB Visitor Center to process passes. Aditionally CO Jeffrey
Grelck 30 CONS/PKA, Space Launch Delta 30 Planning Manager Wendi Rupp SLD 30/XP and
Project Manager David Rutledge 30 CES/CENME were in attendance.
b. An Offeror posed a question: “Can 1 electronic response submission fufill the solicitation requirement or does it have to be 2 hard copies?” CO Grelck responded: “It is ok to submit just 1 electronic response to the solicitation.”
c. All depeparted the Visitor Center at approximately 10:30 AM PST via caravan.
d. Arrival at Buidling 1619 at approximately 10:45am PST. Offerors briefed on procedures to include photographs being allowed, and personal flashlights or phone lighting being necessary inside the building which was dark. Review of Building 1619 completed at approximately 11:25 AM PST.
e. Arrival at Buidling 1624 at approximately 10:50 AM PST. Review of Building 1624 completed at approximately 11:50 AM PST.
f. Arrival at Buidling 1624 at approximately 10:50 AM PST. Offeror question was asked: “Will the shack that is not pictured in the site map soliciation need to be removed?” CO Grelck responded: “Yes, it is within the limit lines, however an RFI will need to be submitted for an official answer.”
g. Review of Building 1624 completed at approximately 11:50 AM PST.
h. All attendees caravanned to Building 1632, and the review was completed and the site visit was concluded at aprroximetely 12:20 PM PST.
