SUBJECT: Aerospace Services Support Contract (ASSC) Solicitation FA4610-16-R-0001 Vendor Industry Day, 10 Mar 2016 A sources sought notice for the subject acquisition was posted to the Fed Biz Ops (FBO) website on 28 Jan 15 and amended on 23 Feb 15. The purpose of the sources sought notice was to solicit responses from interested vendors for information and planning purposes and to identify qualified sources capable of providing these services. A draft Request for Proposal (RFP) and draft Performance Work Statement was posted to the FBO website on 30 Jul 15. Responses to Industry questions were posted to the FBO website on 15 Oct 15. Your company may have expressed an interest in this acquisition.

The scope of the proposed effort includes tasks associated with providing Aerospace Support Services. This effort involves Unconventional Fuels as well as Transient Aircraft and Aerospace Ground Equipment services for 30 Space Wing at Vandenberg AFB CA. The requirement also includes Transient Aircraft and Aerospace Ground Equipment services for 45 Space Wing located at Patrick AFB, FL, and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL. This acquisition will be a small-business set aside and the basis for award will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Teaming arrangements or joint ventures may be acceptable.

The purpose of this communication is to notify your company that the Government intends to post a final Request for Proposal to the FBO website for the subject acquisition on or about 1 Mar 16. In the meantime, the Government will continue to identify qualified sources capable of providing these services.

To this end, the Government would like to arrange individual meetings with interested contractors to discuss any new feedback and/or new issues which may have surfaced since the sources sought and responses to Industry questions were posted on the FBO website. Vendors’ thoughts regarding possible teaming arrangements or subcontracting opportunities could also be a subject for discussion. Based on interest from Industry, a site visit to the appropriate venues on Vandenberg AFB and a short teleconference with Patrick AFB regarding the Transient Aircraft and Aerospace Ground Equipment services may be scheduled.

The individual meetings will be scheduled on 10 Mar 2016, from 8:00 – 1:00 and will last approximately 30 minutes each. Appointments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.

If your company is interested in this requirement and would like to schedule a meeting with the Government, we request that you promptly respond to this letter no later than 4:00 PM on 4 Mar 2016. Please state in your request whether or not you are interested in a site visit at Vandenberg AFB and/or a teleconference with Patrick AFB personnel regarding their Transient Aircraft and Aerospace Ground Equipment requirements. Please forward responses to Shirley J. Castillo, Contract Specialist, at shirley.castillo@vandenberg.af.mil and Lisa K. Brown, Contracting Officer, at lisa.brown@vandenberg.af.mil.
