BASE TELECOMMUNICATION SUPPORT SERVICE
SITE VISIT MINUTES
1. A site visit was held on 27 Oct 15 at 0900 hours in the 87th Contracting Squadron conference room of building 2402 to conduct a walkthrough of the sites listed in the PWS. The following individuals were in attendance (Attachment 1):

2. The meeting began at 0900 with SSgt Thompson introducing himself to the attendees as the contract specialist for the subject re-procurement. Once that was complete, SSgt Thompson went over the pre-proposal conference and site visit script (Attachment 2) for the upcoming site visit. SSgt Thompson emphasized to all the prospective offerors that any remarks and explanations given at the conference will not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation that solicitation terms will not change unless issued by amendment. SSgt Thompson also notified the vendors that all questions were to be submitted in writing not later than 29 October 2015 at 1500 hours and no answers will be provided to questions not submitted in writing.
3. The meeting concluded at 0911 which then we all proceeded to the van to head to the first site. The first stop on the site visit was at Lakehurst Hangar 1. While at hangar 1, the contractors got an opportunity to see the main switch room for Lakehurst and also had an opportunity to view available storage areas, and admin space. Next, we proceeded to building 120 in which the contractors had an opportunity to see the main hub for fiber reference Appendix 5.2.C.
4. The next stop on our site visit was to do a drive by on Ranger Road to view the aerial cables. There were no stops during this drive by. We then proceeded to building 5321 on Dix to view the main switch office for the Dix area. There the contractors had the opportunity to view the vault along with the main telephone switches, admin areas and the storage yard.
5. The final stop on the site visit was at building 1901 to tour the main switch office for the McGuire area. The contractors had the opportunity to view the setup of the switch systems along with available admin space.
8. The site visit concluded at approximately 1220 hours where again the contractors were reminded of paragraph two of the pre-proposal conference and site visit script and that questions were due on 29 October 2015 at 1500 hours.
