RFI 011) Is there any existing smoke detection system that needs to be Demo-ed?

No, but there may be redundant detectors. The new detectors are intended to activate the clean agent systems and could serve as replacements for the existing detectors within the protected areas.

RFI 012) Is there any fire alarm equipment that needs to be demo-ed before the installation of fire suppression system?

None that the government is aware of at this time. The existing fire alarm control panels will remain and monitor the new systems.

RFI 013) Will Graphic Annunciator be required for fire suppression system?

This is not a requirement of the project.

RFI 014) Will LCD Annunciator be required for fire suppression system?

Beyond the displays on the system control panel and the fire alarm control panels, this is not a requirement of the project

RFI 015) Specs say UL #5555 Dampers are being provided? Who is providing these?

Contractor to supply/install.

RFI 016) ETL states there is a monitoring Advantor system above the ceiling tile, what is the plan for this system Deactivate temp, Modification, Removal?

Advantor system will be deactivated by AF personnel (likely to be deactivated during construction activities then restored to operation during evenings and weekends.)

RFI 017) If Advantor system is powered down, does the system have items that will interfere with construction work?

Unknown – to be site verified by contractor

RFI 018) Will Facility personnel take care of the Advantor system Deactivate temp, Modification, Removal, or will this be handled by contractor?

RFI 019) Will arrangements be made with Simplex, to have them out to program monitoring points into their system to monitor for New fire suppression system?
