Card Reader Requirements

Brand Name or Equal: HID Mini R10

Salient Characteristics:

− Card Compatibility: Secure Identity object, PIV cards and FOB − ANSI/BHMA A156.5 and ANSI/BHMA A156.25 Grade 1 − Tamper and vandal resistant − Display light to indicate access − Rated for continuous duty − Standalone device − Must integrate/function with electric door strike − Capable of being hardwired to a power supply − Voltage max: 24VDC

Electric Strike Requirements

Brand Name or Equal: HES 1006

Salient Characteristics:

− Must be able to be hardwired to a power supply.

− Stainless steel construction − ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1 compliance − Rated for continuous duty − Strike must have multiple faceplate options so that it may fit on current door frame and door latches to minimize additional modifications.

− Plug-in connector − Internally mounted solenoid − Tamper resistance UIL 1034 − Full keeper shims to allow for horizontal adjustment − Max. voltage: 24VDC − Applications: Steel/Aluminum frames − Minimum Static Strength 2500 lbs (fail secure) − Minimum Dynamic Strength 350 lbs (fail secure) − Required to recapture deadbolt
