FA301618R0072 SITE VISIT Q&A

1. The Mass Notification System upgrade would require that the existing system be completely replaced/upgraded in order to comply with current regulations:

New Panel Replace all heat sensors, relocate heat sensors due to Audio/visual devices in all individual work spaces/offices Carbon monoxide sensors Additional prevention methods in the media booth

With the above said, your estimated budget would not be sufficient. Please let us know if the budget will be increased or will the SOW be changed.

Answer: Revised SOW (12 Jul 2018) will remove the Mass Notification System.

2. Will a flow test be required, if so will the existing system be up and running in order to complete the test?

Answer: Repairs to the system maybe completed prior to completion of construction but may need to delay the award date or the NTP. The process to make repairs is underway but there is not an exact date of when repairs will commence.
