CTG Modular Facilities at Eglin Air Force Base Solicitation No. FA2823-18-R-4014 Request for Information

1. Section 2.2.3 of the SOW calls out 1-40 person conference room and 3-30 person conference rooms (4 total). Section 2.2.5 states that conference room #5 is an additional 20 person conference room, for a total of 4-20 person conference rooms. The furniture spec details furnishings for 1-40 person conference room and 5-20 person conference rooms. Please confirm the accurate number of conference rooms to be incorporated into design and pricing.

0. Under section 2.2.3 there are three 20-person Conference Rooms and one 40-person room, Section 2.2.5 has one 20-person Conference Room. There will be a total of four 20-person Conference Rooms and one-40-person room – follow the furnishing counts for the room size per Section 6.

1. No break room furniture quantities are provided, but break room tables and chairs are detailed in the furniture specification. Please provide counts for furniture required in the break room.

1. Break Room #1 will have 5 tables with four chairs each; Break Room #2 will have 3 tables with four chairs each. Total for project would be eight tables and 32 chairs.

1. Please provide quantity for “guest chairs,” item 6.1.2D, Cricket-Nightingale 500.

2. These will be located in each of the six GS-14 Offices. Allot for two guest chairs per office – total 12 Guest Chairs.

1. Page 171 shows a chair ARP-GC4E. This model chair is not listed as being used in any room. Please advise if this chair is used and if so where and how many.

3. Disregard, this style chair is not needed for the project

1. Paragraph 3.1 indicates the DOR can be registered to practice in “a State or procession of the United States…”, But Paragraphs 4.3.3 and 4.9.4 require a Florida registration. Is a Florida registered PE required for the DOR or other designers that will be working on this project?

4. 3.1 reads as “possession” of the United States. Section 4, are the specific Discipline Requirements and supersede Section 3.1 due to the project location.

1. What is the minimum ceiling height required for this project?

5. Interior height is 8 feet above finish floor.

1. Can the design team attend the design review meeting via teleconference?

6. The choice to attend via telecomm or in-person will rest with the government awarded contractor as all contract requirements rest with them. There will be no additional time awarded for conflicts, issues, problems or similar resulting from the quality of the telecomm, information or similar that is only available in-person/on-site.

1. What is the life expectancy of this building?

7. 15 years

1. Can the interior door frames be knock-down in lieu of welded frames?

8. Yes

1. Will lightning protection be required for this?

9. No

1. Will Static Dissipative Flooring be required for the communication room?

10. Yes

1. Please help to confirm the size / occupancy requirement of the two breakrooms.

11. Breakroom #1 will have a capacity for 20 people, plus the items listed in the SOW; Breakroom #2 will be for 12 people as well as the items listed in the SOW.
