FA2823‐10‐R‐0011 PACKING AND CRATING SOLICITATION

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS II

QUESTIONS #1 – How does the CONTRACTOR bid assembly and reassembly? We would like to use a third party vendor, which under A.4.b.(1) is only approved by the ordering officer from TMO. If we are responsible, we have to include it in the bid.

ANSWER

This falls under additional services cost in accordance with the contract. The contractor will need to submit a request for approval for issues that fall out of the normal assembly and reassembly (i.e. normal beds, basic furniture).

QUESTIONS #2 – Will the contract be awarded to one CONTRACTOR? Is there a possibility to award different schedules (I, II and III) to different CONTRACTORS?

ANSWER

Multiple Awards are up to the discretion of the Contracting Officer and it will be considered.
