About this file
This document is a Self-Employment Guide from the Arizona Department of Economic Security's Rehabilitation Services Administration, Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Program. The guide provides a comprehensive business plan outline for individuals seeking self-employment assistance through the VR program, specifically designed to help participants develop a structured approach to launching their own business.
The guide requires applicants to develop a detailed business plan with six key attachments: Executive Summary, Business Description, Operations Plan, Marketing Plan, Financial Plan, and Supporting Documentation. Each attachment includes specific requirements such as company details, market analysis, financial projections, startup cost breakdowns, and additional supporting materials. The document outlines a thorough process for entrepreneurs to document their business concept, including personal assets, liability assessments, funding sources, and projected financial performance. Notably, the VR program will not provide cash reserves, but offers a framework for comprehensive business planning and potential funding support for startup costs.
