About this file
This is a Schedule of Quantities and Prices exhibit from the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) for a mobile Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and fast-charging equipment services contract. The procurement encompasses lease of mobile BESS units with a minimum capacity of 1 MW / 2 MWh usable capacity per unit (estimated quantity of 2 units), fast-charging equipment with minimum two 150 kW ports, power distribution equipment, monitoring and telematics platforms, BESS rotation and transportation operations, insurance and licensing compliance, project management and coordination, mobilization and installation services, operations and maintenance support, and site deployment mobility support. The contract structure includes a base period and two optional renewal years, with pricing to be provided for each period separately.
Proposers must submit firm unit prices and lump sum prices for all listed line items, with all costs inclusive of overhead, profit, applicable taxes, tariffs, insurance, and expenses for contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers of all tiers. The estimated quantities provided are approximate and used solely for proposal evaluation purposes; LACMTA does not guarantee that actual quantities will match estimates. Unit prices must be multiplied by estimated quantities to determine total prices for each line item, which are then summed to establish the Total Proposal Price for each period. Any blank unit prices or total prices may render a proposal non-responsive unless the missing values can be calculated from provided information. The Total Evaluated Proposal Price combines pricing from the base period and both option years.

EXHIBIT 2
SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES INSTRUCTIONS
The Proposer shall submit its firm unit prices and lump sum prices for the Services set forth in the Proposal and described in RFP on the following form entitled SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES
AND PRICES.
The estimated quantities shown on the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES are approximate and are based on the best information available at the time the RFP was issued.
They are used solely for the purpose of evaluating the Proposals. LACMTA does not represent, expressly or by implication, that the actual quantities used in performing the Services will equal the estimated quantities.
In the case of items for which a fixed dollar amount predetermined by LACMTA has already been entered on the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES, the dollar amount so entered shall be binding on all Proposer as the price for such item; said dollar amount shall not be revised unless LACMTA directs a Change in the Services affecting the item to which said dollar amount relates.
Unit prices, lump sum prices, and other values must be entered in the appropriate spaces provided in the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES. Unit prices must be multiplied by the estimated quantity shown and the total inserted in the "Total Price" column. The "Total Prices" must be added together in arriving at the "Total Proposal Price". The Total Proposal Price shall be for the completion and acceptance of all Services listed in the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES as required by the Contract.
The unit prices and lump sum prices must conform to their respective requirements and parameters as specified in the Scope of Services. They also must be inclusive of all costs for the Services specified in other Contract Documents, including the proportional costs for overhead, profit, all applicable taxes, tariffs, insurance and other expenses of the Contractor, Subcontractors, and Suppliers of all tiers.
Should any unit price be left blank, the Proposal will be considered non-responsive unless the blank item can be calculated from the information available (i.e., unit price can be determined by dividing the total price by the estimated quantity).
Should any total price be left blank, the Proposal may be considered non-responsive unless the blank item can be calculated from the information available (i.e., total price can be determined by multiplying the unit price by the estimated quantity).
