About this file
This is an Executed Grant Agreement document between the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) and the City of Homestead regarding ITQ#166008 for Code Compliance and PROS Administration Building Wind Retrofit. The project involves the installation of new impact windows and doors at the City of Homestead Code Compliance and Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS) Administration Building. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, skills, tools, permits, supervision, services, and traffic control necessary for proper completion of the work. The scope includes compliance with all requirements specified in the FDEM Agreement No. B0253 (Project No. DEM-HL00119), Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade County Product Approval/Notice of Acceptance requirements, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Evaluation factors for award include price, vendor qualifications and licensing, experience with similar work, ability to meet the required project schedule, mobilization time from notice to proceed, and demonstrated ability to complete construction within the specified timeframe. Award may not be based solely on price; instead, it shall be made to the responsive and responsible vendor whose quote is determined most advantageous to the City.
