About this file
Summary of EVENT_4318_-_SPECIFICATIONS.pdf
This specifications document pertains to the State of Minnesota's procurement for resilient wedge gate valves with manual actuators. The specifications establish the technical and operational requirements for gate valves to be supplied under bid number BID-PW. The document outlines detailed product specifications including valve classifications, materials, dimensions, pressure ratings, and performance standards that bidders must meet. The valves must comply with relevant industry standards and certifications, with specifications covering valve body construction, wedge design, stem materials, sealing capabilities, and operational characteristics. The procurement defines specific bore sizes and pressure classes required, along with testing and quality assurance protocols that suppliers must follow.
The specifications establish the technical baseline and acceptance criteria that all submitted products must satisfy to be considered responsive bids. Bidders must ensure their resilient wedge gate valve offerings with manual actuators conform precisely to the stated dimensions, materials, pressure ratings, and performance parameters outlined in the document. The specifications serve as the binding technical requirements that govern product evaluation and selection, ensuring that all responsive bids deliver equipment meeting Minnesota's operational and safety standards for the water or wastewater infrastructure project for which these valves are intended.
