About this file

This is a user guide document for the eSupplier platform, which is utilized by the City of Minneapolis for managing bidder and supplier accounts in connection with state and local contracting opportunities. The guide provides step-by-step instructions for accessing and navigating the eSupplier system, including signing in with user credentials, managing business profiles, and updating service and goods categories to receive notifications about applicable contracting opportunities. The City of Minneapolis has organized available contracting categories into five primary areas: Professional and Technical Services, Construction Services, Other Services, Goods and Supplies, and Items for Rent. Users can access their accounts through the secure supplier homepage after authentication and modify their business information through designated profile tiles, with changes requiring either a save or submit action to take effect.

The guide addresses account management functions such as password changes, which require users to enter a new password twice before confirmation, and password recovery procedures, which trigger an email with reset instructions sent to the registered primary business email address. The document does not contain pricing information, set-aside requirements, incumbent details, funding sources, or contract-specific terms, as it serves solely as a technical navigation guide for the eSupplier platform rather than addressing the specific details of any individual contracting opportunity. This instructional material was last updated on May 15, 2024, and supports the City of Minneapolis's broader procurement process for opportunities such as the Connecting Camden Railroad Crossing project, which is funded through the Federal Railroad Administration's Rail Crossing Elimination grant program.
