About this file

This is a vendor registration guide for the City of Minneapolis, Minnesota, outlining the procedural requirements for businesses and individuals seeking to conduct business with the city through the eSupplier platform. The document provides step-by-step instructions for registering in eSupplier, beginning with accessing the City of Minneapolis website and proceeding through the registration process. Prospective vendors must complete identifying information including Social Security Number, EIN, or TIN; provide entity name and business type classification; enter primary business address and email; and add at least one contact with login credentials. Vendors then select applicable sourcing categories to receive notifications of relevant solicitations and bids, confirm their email address, accept the Terms of Agreement, and submit their registration for approval.

Upon successful submission and approval of the vendor registration, the City of Minneapolis will send an approval email containing a User ID and temporary password to the registrant's email address. Vendors must then access the eSupplier portal using the provided credentials and change their temporary password to a permanent password of their choosing. This registration process is a mandatory prerequisite for all vendors interested in bidding on City of Minneapolis contracts, including the RFP for the Connecting Camden Railroad Crossing Project, a planning and engineering services engagement funded by a Federal Railroad Administration Rail Crossing Elimination grant program.
