About this file
This document contains questions and responses related to a Request for Offer (RFO) issued by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) for a Cloud Fax Solution. The RFO seeks a qualified contractor to provide a modern cloud fax solution that will improve service availability, scalability, and ease of use for public service programs. The scope includes functional requirements such as configurable business rules, ability to receive faxes via multiple methods, and support for 60,000 packages and 800,000 inbound pages per week. The RFO includes specific technical and operational requirements around encryption, security, storage, routing, and service levels.
The RFO also includes jurisdictional information, indicating that the contract will cover various city and county entities within the state of Texas, including Travis County and the City of Austin. Respondents were provided an opportunity to submit questions, which HHSC has responded to, providing clarification on topics such as number porting, data formatting, OCR capabilities, and authentication requirements. Pricing information is to be provided using an all-inclusive cost model, with no separate pricing for optional services.
