About this file
This is Addendum No. 3 to Request for Proposal 26-103 issued by Alvin College, a public community college in Brazoria County, Texas, seeking comprehensive NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN licensure preparation services. The addendum addresses clarifications regarding submission procedures and provides essential enrollment data for program planning purposes. Alvin College admits approximately 80-96 new RN students annually across two programs (Traditional ADN program: 40 students each spring and fall semester; LVN to RN Transition program: 20 students in summer and 10-16 in fall), with RN students utilizing resources for either four semesters (Traditional ADN) or three semesters (Transition program). Additionally, the college admits approximately 60-70 new PN students annually (PN program: 50 students in summer; CNA/Med Aide to LVN bridge: 10 students in summer), with PN students utilizing resources for three semesters across both program tracks. Written inquiries must be submitted by May 13, 2026, with proposals due June 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM CDT. The initial contract term spans two years (approximately August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2028) with options to extend for up to three additional one-year terms.
The addendum clarifies mandatory submission requirements, including that proposals must be mailed in physical format using encrypted USB drives (email submissions are not permitted), complete copies of Terms and Conditions pages must accompany responses, and vendors cannot submit alternative submission methods. No pricing information, budget allocation, or financial terms are detailed in this addendum, though the parent RFP indicates evaluation will be weighted on proposed solution (30%), pricing (25%), vendor qualifications and experience (20%), training and support (15%), computer programs and data requirements (5%), and value-added services (5%). The college is tax-exempt and vendors should adjust pricing accordingly. Phased implementation begins January 2027 for the ADN program and June 2027 for the LVN program, with contract initiation through valid purchase order and net 30-day payment terms.
