Description of Amendment
RFQ 47PF0018R0176
DHS/ICE Perimeter Counter Measures Cabling Project Rosa Parks Federal Building 333 Mount Elliott Street Detroit, Michigan 48207 Amendment 0006
Amendment 0006 is issued to:
1. Provide a updated Standard Form 1442.
2. Provide clarification to the Scope of Work (SOW).
3. Include language from the original SOW to provide context in submitting a proposal.
Responses to Questions:
Question: At the 2nd Pre-Bid meeting, held November 20th, there was some discussion as to a possible “typo” in the last line of #5, which should read …..”removable lockable “non” K-Rated bollards.
Response: Item 5 should read "In lieu of providing two (2) removable, lockable non K-rated bollards as specified in Option B of Section 4 Execution of Scope of Work, Section A General, the Contractor shall provide three (3) removable, lockable non K-rated bollards."
Question: Also in the Scope of Work (from Amendment 4) there is a reference to 7. In lieu of the verbiage provided in Section 4 Execution of Scope of Work, Section C Architectural/Construction, the new verbiage shall read as follows:
Response: Item 7 references Section 4 of the Scope of Work document and is provided in this Amendment.
Question: In regard to “seeding and mulching,” once the project is complete, please clarify that after initial saturation, all other watering will be performed by the GSA/and/or their Client? I do not believe that you would want us to include daily trips to the site, at prevailing wages, to water the new seed & mulch?
Response: Property Management has confirmed that GSA will assume responsibility for daily watering of seeding and mulch after initial saturation.
