About this file

This document contains instructions from the City of Detroit for completing the Emergency Professional Rate Schedule related to an emergency commercial demolition project at 2965 Beaufait in Michigan. Respondents must submit unit rates for two primary service categories: Demolition (including administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, regulated and non-regulated trucking, and disposal of asbestos-containing and construction/demolition materials) and Backfill, Grade, & Site Finalization (including administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, and backfill and topfill materials). All highlighted cells on the rate schedule must be completed with mean per-unit pricing, and respondents should reference the applicable Scope of Services for clarification on service type definitions.

The City of Detroit requires that all unit rates be expressed as single average values per unit of measure rather than ranges, without qualifying notes or alternate unit types. Incomplete submissions—those containing rate ranges, explanatory text, alternate unit types, or blank rate fields—may be rejected as non-responsive. The City reserves the right to request clarification on any submitted unit rate within twenty-four hours of request. Completion of the Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute acceptance of the proposed rates by the City of Detroit.
