About this file
This document provides instructions for completing the Emergency Professional Rate Schedule for the City of Detroit's Emergency Residential Demolition project at 15768 Virgil in Michigan. Respondents must submit detailed pricing for two primary service categories: Demolition (including administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, regulated and non-regulated material trucking, and disposal of asbestos-containing and construction/demolition materials) and Backfill, Grade, & Site Finalization (including administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, backfill material, and topfill material). All highlighted cells on the rate schedule must be completed with specific unit rates corresponding to designated unit types.
The City of Detroit requires that all unit rates be submitted as a single mean average per unit of measure (such as hourly rates) and explicitly prohibits ranges, qualifying notes, alternate unit types, or blank fields. Respondents who submit incomplete or non-responsive rate sheets—including those with ranges, conditional language, or missing information—may have their proposals rejected. The City reserves the right to request clarification on any submitted unit rate within twenty-four hours, and completion of the Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute acceptance of the proposed rates. Respondents must also complete all business and contact information at the top of the schedule and may reference the applicable Scope of Services or contact the City of Detroit directly for clarification on service type definitions.
