About this file

This document provides instructions for completing the Emergency Professional Rate Schedule for the City of Detroit's Emergency Residential Demolition project at 12882 Whitcomb in Michigan. Respondents must submit business and contact information along with unit rates for two primary service categories: Demolition (including administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, regulated and non-regulated trucking, and disposal of asbestos-containing and construction/demolition materials) and Backfill, Grade, and Site Finalization (including administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, backfill material, and topfill material). All highlighted cells in the Professional Rate Schedule must be completed with dollar values corresponding to specified unit types.

Respondents must provide mean (average) per-unit pricing and may not submit rates expressed as ranges, include qualifying notes, substitute alternate unit types, or leave any rate fields blank. The City of Detroit reserves the right to deem submissions with these deficiencies as incomplete or non-responsive. Additionally, the city may request clarification on any submitted unit rate within twenty-four hours of request, and respondents must comply with this timeline. Completion of the Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute city acceptance of the proposed rates. Respondents should reference the applicable Scope of Services for clarification on service type definitions or contact the City of Detroit directly with questions.
