About this file

This is a technical drawings and specifications document for the Camp Dawson Operations (OPS) Replacement & Installation of Concrete project in West Virginia. The document outlines detailed concrete pavement construction requirements, including joint specifications for contraction and construction joints with precise measurements for depth, width, and sealant application. The specifications require a broom finish applied immediately after float finishing to roughen the trafficked surface using a fiber bristle broom perpendicular to the main traffic route. Additionally, the contractor must install new gate reset loops at both the entrance and exit gates of the vehicular concrete pavement area, with the entrance gate requiring one reset loop and the exit gate requiring both a vehicle detection loop and a gate reset loop, all installed according to manufacturer recommendations.

The document does not contain information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, response deadlines, or contract award dates. No details are provided regarding the project timeline, site visit requirements, bidder meetings, or contract renewal options. The technical specifications focus exclusively on construction methodology and materials standards for the concrete pavement work and associated gate detection systems.
