About this file
This is a Design Reference Package for the Bridgeway Lakes Boathouse Interior Renovation project issued by the City of West Sacramento, California. The document provides visual and specification references for interior finishes to guide contractor proposals and ensure design consistency with the project intent. The scope includes four primary interior finish categories: cabinetry and countertops featuring shaker-style cabinets with dark stained finish and solid-surface countertops in neutral tones; wainscoting composed of shaker-style flat panels with recessed sections and square-edged trim; flooring specified as dark wood-look luxury vinyl tile plank flooring, with Tarkett Event+ Wood Heritage Plank in Windsor as the basis of design or approved equivalent; and interior wall paint matching existing wall color with refreshed application. Additionally, lighting fixtures shall consist of square, low-profile LED flat-panel troffer fixtures providing uniform, glare-reduced illumination suitable for high-traffic event space use. Sealed bids for this project are due no later than Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 1:00 pm, with complete bid specifications and project details available in the referenced attachments.
The reference package explicitly states that the provided images are for design intent purposes only and do not represent required products. Contractors are permitted to propose equivalent materials that match the style and quality shown, subject to City of West Sacramento approval. This flexibility allows bidders to offer cost-effective alternatives while maintaining design consistency with the project vision for the boathouse interior renovation.
