About this file

This is an Interagency Service Agreement (ISA) Amendment between the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS), specifically the Arizona Biomedical Research Centre (ABRC), and Arizona State University (ASU). The document is Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. CTR058310, effective from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024, and focuses on an educational initiative for biomedical research and health programming.

The amendment outlines ASU's responsibilities to host and manage three core event categories in 2024: the Arizona Cord Blood Conference (budgeted at $55,000), the Arizona Business & Health Summit (budgeted at $50,000), and multiple small events to be competitively awarded (budgeted at $120,000). ASU will manage an open application period from December 2023 through July 2024 to solicit and select up to five events with funding amounts between $1,000 and $50,000 per event, not to exceed $120,000 total. An additional 10% indirect cost of $22,500 is included, bringing the total annual contract value to $247,500. ASU is required to provide quarterly expenditure reports, post-event detailed reports, and electronic file transfers documenting each event's outcomes and materials.
