About this file
This is a Contract Amendment from the State of Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS), specifically the Office of Procurement located in Phoenix, Arizona. The amendment appears to modify an existing contract, with multiple references to changes involving DCS, CMDP (likely a specific program), and Mercy Care as the primary contractor.
The contract amendment focuses on comprehensive modifications to healthcare service delivery for children and youth in the foster care system. Key changes include adjustments to behavioral health service requirements, performance measures, provider standards, and claims processing. The contract is characterized as a full-risk contract, with the Contractor (Mercy Care) responsible for all payments in accordance with the defined scope of work, capitation rates, and re-insurance for the CMDP population. The amendment introduces detailed modifications to service delivery, including changes to assessment tools, provider requirements, network development, and coordination of benefits, with a focus on improving healthcare services for children in the foster care system.
