About this file

Amendment #001 to Contract ATC-25-089 is a modification agreement between the State of Florida, Department of Corrections (Department) and Waste Pro of Florida, Inc. (Contractor) for Non-Regulated Trash Collection Services in Regions 3 and 4. This amendment revises the contractor's pricing schedule (Exhibit B) and modifies service parameters across multiple Department of Corrections facilities.

The amendment removes one 8-cubic-yard container at Lake Correctional Institution (Lake CI) and reduces the estimated weekly pick-ups for the 30-cubic-yard open roll-off and 30-cubic-yard closed containers at the same location. Additionally, 15 96-gallon totes are added at Lake CI, and the Orlando Community Release Center is removed due to duplication. The revised pricing schedule reflects these changes across five service locations: Central Florida Reception Center (CFRC) with a grand total of $956.80 monthly; Orlando Community Release Center with a grand total of $1,806.00 monthly; Lake CI with a grand total of $8,888.96 monthly (reduced from $11,176.92); Marion Correctional Institution with a grand total of $7,763.00 monthly; and Orlando Service Center with a grand total of $142.00 monthly. Services include rental of various container sizes (4-cubic-yard, 8-cubic-yard, 20-cubic-yard, 30-cubic-yard, and 40-cubic-yard) with scheduled and unscheduled pick-ups, along with 96-gallon totes with flip lids. Unit costs per pick-up range from $27.18 to $763.00 depending on container type and service frequency. The amendment became effective upon signature by both parties on October 3, 2025.
