Work tasks to be performed include:
1. Lighting Design Analysis Report (LDAR) - The Consultant shall prepare LDAR to include the cutsheets of fixtures used in the design and photometric calculations from Visual or AGI showing all calculation zones and how they compare to FDOT Design Manual lighting criteria.
2. Reference and Master Design File - The Consultant shall develop conceptual level design plans that clearly shows all installation instructions for the utility companies. Aerial photography shall be used as a base and existing features shall be drawn in such as side street names, edge of travel, edge of pavement, sidewalk, crosswalks, existing lighting, existing utility poles, and any other existing features needed to analyze lighting levels.
3. Lighting Quantities - The Consultant shall quantify the number of luminaires, poles, and other relocation or removal items identified in the design. These quantities are to be used for the project cost estimating task. FDOT pay items and EQR are not required.
4. Cost Estimate - The Consultant shall develop a cost estimate for the lighting installation in conjunction with the utility company that will be performing the installation. This shall be done to ensure appropriate funding is in place to execute the JPA agreement. Unit or lump sum costs to be provided by utility company.
5. Field Review - The consultant shall perform a field review of each location to confirm that all existing features are shown properly on the plans and to ensure that all proposed features are constructable.
