About this file
Amendment No. 5 to Contract No. PL272 is an administrative amendment between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and WSP USA Environment & Infrastructure Inc., formerly known as Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. The contractor is located at 2533 Greer Road, Suite 6, Tallahassee, Florida 32308. The amendment, executed on December 13, 2022, by the contractor and January 12, 2023, by the state, reflects a corporate name change that became effective on September 26, 2022, when the contractor amended its Articles of Incorporation.
The original contract, effective July 4, 2013, covers combination baseline documentation and reports as well as environmental site assessment reports. Amendment No. 5 does not modify the scope of work, pricing, or contract term but instead updates the contractor's legal name throughout all contract references and implements a revised employee eligibility verification requirement. The contractor is required to use the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system to verify employment eligibility for all employees and to include similar requirements in authorized subcontracts. Subcontractors must provide affidavits confirming they do not employ unauthorized aliens, with the contractor maintaining copies for the contract duration. The Federal Employer Identification Number (FEID) remained unchanged through the corporate restructuring, and all rights, duties, liabilities, and responsibilities transfer to the new corporate entity.
