Contract Summary
This document consists of a Contract Renewal Renegotiation Summary Form and Amendment No. 5 for Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Contract No. HW551 with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. The contract, originally entered into on December 29, 2010, has been amended multiple times, with the most recent amendment dated March 31, 2014. The contract is funded through a combination of federal and state sources (WQATF) supporting the Waste Cleanup Program. The DEP Contract Manager identified is Teresa Booeshaghi, with authorization from the Division/District/Office Director and Chief of Staff.
The contract provides professional engineering and geological support services for the Waste Cleanup Program on a task assignment basis. Through renegotiation efforts, the parties achieved a cost reduction of $10,000.00 by implementing a 3% across-the-board reduction in equipment cost rates. Amendment No. 5 increased the contract ceiling from $20,000,000.00 to $40,000,000.00 (an increase of $20,000,000.00) while decreasing the funding increment from $2,700,761.85 to $2,665,761.85 (a decrease of $35,000.00). The contract's renewal option was exercised, extending the completion date from December 28, 2015 to December 28, 2020 (a five-year renewal period). The revised rate schedule (Attachment E-1) provides comprehensive pricing for direct labor, indirect costs, laboratory analyses, equipment rentals, vehicle rentals, personal protective equipment, and expendables, with all rates on a fully loaded basis. The contract maintains service level and quality standards while incorporating updated Health and Safety requirements conforming to OSHA guidelines.
