About this file
This is Amendment No. 11 to Agency Term Contract No. GC883 between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Trident Treatment & Dewatering, LLC DBA MAS Environmental, LLC. The contract, originally executed on February 21, 2014, provides petroleum contamination site response action services in the South Region of Florida. The amendment authorizes rate increases to the existing contract's Rate Schedule (Attachment D), effective upon data processing by the Department.
The amendment increases rates across 181 pay items in the Rate Schedule by amounts ranging from approximately 3.9% to 5.0%, with most increases at or near the 5% maximum allowed under contract provision 11.B.ii. Rate increases apply exclusively to new work assignments offered on or after the Rate Change Date of May 4, 2021, while all pre-existing work assignments continue under the prior Rate Schedule (V3.3). The revised rates, detailed in Attachment D (V3.4), cover a comprehensive scope including mobilization, drilling and boring, well installation and abandonment, sample collection and laboratory analysis, soil source removal, remediation system integration and startup, pilot testing, system operations and maintenance, professional services, and various reports. Representative examples of revised rates include receptor survey and exposure pathway identification increasing from $668.51 to $701.93 per survey, direct push boring with in-situ injection increasing from $5,402.25 to $5,672.36 per day, and system O&M packages ranging from $1,914.41 to $6,380.79 per month depending on system size and duration. The Department processed the rate changes on May 4, 2021, with all other contract terms and conditions remaining in effect.
