About this file

This is Amendment No. 14 to Agency Term Contract No. GC822, a rate increase amendment between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and Professional Service Industries, Inc. (FEID No. 370962090). The contract, originally executed on February 26, 2014, provides petroleum contamination site response action services in the North Region of Florida. This amendment modifies only the rates specified in the contract rate schedule and does not add, delete, or otherwise modify any line items.

The amendment increases rates across the contract's comprehensive scope of services, which includes drilling and boring operations, well installation and abandonment, soil and water sampling and analysis, remedial action oversight, system operations and maintenance, engineering controls, and various specialized environmental remediation technologies. Rate increases range from approximately 6.78% to 8.00% across all pay items, with most increases at 8.00%. The new rates in Attachment D (Rate Schedule V3.5) became effective on June 1, 2023, for all new work assignments issued on or after that date. Pre-Rate Change Date work assignments continue to apply the prior rate schedule. The amendment also clarifies that no new Purchase Orders or Task Assignments shall be issued after the renewal term, though existing assignments may continue up to twelve months post-expiration, and adds a requirement for photo documentation of drums to verify the industry standard of 75% capacity.
