About this file
Amendment No. 16 to Agency Term Contract No. GC799 is a rate increase amendment executed between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (Department) and Earth Systems, LLC (Contractor) on May 15, 2024. The original contract was executed on February 20, 2014, to provide petroleum contamination site response action services in the North Region. This amendment modifies the Rate Schedule (Attachment D) from Version 3.4 to Version 3.5 and implements rate increases for specified pay items effective June 10, 2024, for new work assignments only.
The amendment adjusts rates for 41 pay items across multiple service categories including mobilization, boring, sampling, well abandonment, soil and water testing, and reporting services. Rate increases range from approximately 2.97% to 4.89%, with most increases at approximately 3.00%, all within the maximum 5% threshold permitted under provision 11.B of the original contract. Representative examples include Drill Rig and Support Vehicles Mobilization increasing from $1,265.22 to $1,303.18; Hand Auger Boring increasing from $150.95 to $155.48; and Soil, TRPH Fractionation increasing from $352.10 to $362.66. All pre-Rate Change Date work assignments and previously offered work assignments continue to apply the prior rate schedule. The new rates in Attachment D (V3.5) became effective June 10, 2024, following data processing completion on June 6, 2024.
