About this file

This is Amendment No. 12 to an Agency Term Contract (GC789) between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and APEX COMPANIES, LLC, a petroleum contamination site response action services contractor for the North Region of Florida. The amendment was executed on May 25, 2022, and pertains to rate adjustments for various contracted services under the existing indefinite delivery vehicle established on February 28, 2014.

Amendment No. 12 implements rate increases to the contractor's Rate Schedule (Attachment D, Version 3.4), effective for all new work assignments offered on or after May 25, 2022. The rate changes apply only to new work assignments; all pre-existing work assignments continue under the previous Rate Schedule (V3.3). Rate adjustments range from approximately 5% to 15% across multiple service categories including mobilization, drilling and boring, well installation and abandonment, sample collection and field testing, laboratory analysis, soil source removal, debris and waste disposal, petroleum storage tank removal, in-situ injection, remedial action construction, remediation system operations and maintenance, pilot testing, reports, and professional services. The amended rate schedule encompasses over 300 line items spanning site reconnaissance, environmental investigation, remediation system design and implementation, equipment rental, waste disposal, professional engineering and geology oversight, and project management services. The contract maintains a North Region service area focus and applies to petroleum restoration program activities in Florida.
