DEP Agency Term Contract No. GC779 – Amendment No. 18
This is Amendment No. 18 to DEP Agency Term Contract No. GC779, a rate increase amendment executed between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and Trident Treatment & Dewatering, LLC DBA MAS Environmental, LLC. The original contract was executed on February 21, 2014, to provide petroleum contamination site response action services in Florida's Central Region. The amendment modifies the contractor's rate schedule to reflect cost increases for new work assignments offered on or after the effective rate change date of June 10, 2024.
The amendment increases rates across 236 pay items detailed in Attachment D (Rate Schedule V3.7), with rate changes ranging from +4.20% to +5.00%, all within the maximum 5% threshold permitted under the contract's rate adjustment provision. Pay items include field services such as mobilization and drilling, laboratory analytical testing for soil and water samples, equipment rental, soil and groundwater remediation system packages, waste disposal and transportation, environmental assessment and remediation reporting, and professional services including engineering and project oversight. All pre-rate change date work assignments continue to apply the contractor's prior rate schedule. The rate changes are effective only for new work assignments offered on or after June 10, 2024, and are the maximum authorized rates for payment. The Department entered the rate changes into its processing system on June 10, 2024, with data entry completed on June 6, 2024.
