About this file

Document Summary

Amendment No. 14 is a language amendment with rate increase to Agency Term Contract No. GC761 between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. (GESI). The contract, originally executed on February 17, 2014, provides petroleum contamination site response action services in the Central Region of Florida. This amendment updates the rate schedule effective June 1, 2023, for all new work assignments offered on or after the Rate Change Date, while maintaining prior rates for pre-existing and previously offered work assignments.

The amendment modifies rates across the entire service spectrum covered by the contract, including mobilization and equipment services, drilling and boring activities, sampling and analysis, disposal services, remediation system packages, and professional services. Rate increases across the 200+ pay items range from approximately 4.07% to 8.00%, with the majority of increases falling between 5.5% and 8.0%. The amendment includes a specific operational requirement that drums meet the industry standard of being 75% full and requires photographic documentation for verification. Additionally, the amendment restricts the issuance of new purchase orders or task assignments after the renewal term expires, though the contract continues for up to twelve months thereafter to allow completion of work issued during the renewal term.
