About this file

This is Amendment No. 16 to an Agency Term Contract (No. GC748) between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. The amendment modifies the existing contract executed on February 27, 2014, which was established to provide petroleum contamination site response action services in the Central Region of Florida.

Amendment No. 16 implements a rate increase to the contractor's Rate Schedule (Attachment D, Version 3.6) for work assignments offered on or after the Rate Change Date of June 10, 2024. The rate increases apply exclusively to new work assignments and do not affect pre-Rate Change Date work or previously offered assignments, which continue under the prior rate schedule. The contractor requested rate increases in accordance with contract provision 11.B, submitting detailed justification that the FDEP reviewed and approved. The requested increase percentage does not exceed the maximum 5% threshold permitted under provision 11.B.ii. Approximately 560 pay items across the rate schedule were adjusted, with increases ranging from approximately 3% to 5%, affecting mobilization costs, drilling and boring services, well installation and abandonment, laboratory analysis services, remediation system packages, professional services, and specialized technical oversight. The Agreed New Rates constitute the maximum authorized rates for payment and are effective for all work assignments issued on or after June 10, 2024.
