About this file
This is Amendment No. 13 to Agency Term Contract No. GC728, a petroleum restoration program contract between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (the state agency) and Advanced Environmental Technologies, LLC (the contractor). The contract was originally effective February 27, 2014, and this amendment extends the existing agreement.
The amendment extends the contract term for an additional six-month period from August 14, 2024, through February 14, 2025. No new purchase orders or task assignments may be issued after the extended term concludes; however, existing purchase orders and task assignments issued during the renewal or extended term may continue for completion up to twelve months beyond the extended term end date. All other terms and conditions of the original contract remain in effect. The contractor attests compliance with Florida Statutes section 287.1346 regarding forced labor prohibitions and acknowledges that termination will occur if the contractor is placed on the state's force labor vendor list. The amendment was signed by Jodi Marsden, Contract/Operations Manager for Advanced Environmental Technologies, LLC, on July 25, 2024, and by Jessica Kramer, representing the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, on August 2, 2024.

NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:
1. The Contract is extended for a 6-month period, pursuant to section 287.057(13), F.S., to begin
August 14, 2024, and remain in effect until February 14, 2025. The Department and the Contractor shall continue to perform their respective duties during this extension period pursuant to the same terms and conditions provided in the Contract.
2. Paragraph 4, Term of Contract Section C is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:
C. No new Purchase Orders or Task Assignments shall be issued or executed after the Term of Contract.
However, the Restated Contract shall continue in effect up to twelve months after the extended term for completion of any Purchase Order or Task Assignment issued/executed during the renewal or extended term. Purchase Orders or Task Assignments, completion of which extends beyond the extended term shall continue to be subject to change, as appropriate.
3. Pursuant to 287.1346, F.S., by signing this extension of contract, Contractor attests under the penalty of perjury that to the best of his or her knowledge any commodities or services offered to the Department have not been produced, in whole or in part, by forced labor. Contractor further agrees that the Department will terminate this contract should Contractor be placed on the force labor vendor list created pursuant to section 287.1346, F.S.
4. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in effect. If and to the extent that any inconsistency may appear between the Contract and this Amendment, the provisions of this Amendment shall control.
