About this file

This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form submitted in connection with Nevada's Sustainable Materials Management Training Program for Rural Communities, a procurement opportunity administered by the State of Nevada Purchasing Division on behalf of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Environmental Protection. The certification document serves as a mandatory federal compliance requirement for contractors bidding on this project. The form requires the prospective contractor to certify that it has not and will not engage in lobbying activities using federal funds in violation of the Lobbying Disclosure Act and related federal statutes. The certification must be completed and submitted as part of the bid package, with the contractor attesting under penalty of perjury that all information provided is accurate and truthful.

The Certification Regarding Lobbying is a standard federal requirement for contracts involving federal funding or federal assistance. This form does not contain pricing information, set-asides, incumbent contractor details, or contract term specifications, as its sole purpose is to establish compliance with federal anti-lobbying statutes. All prospective bidders responding to the Sustainable Materials Management Training Program opportunity must complete and execute this certification before their proposals can be considered responsive. The form protects federal interests by requiring contractors to acknowledge their understanding of lobbying restrictions and commit to compliance throughout contract performance.
