About this file

This document is Exhibit E of Invitation for Bid (IFB) 260572 issued by the Orange County Transportation Authority (Authority) for landscaping services in California. The exhibit establishes the general wage rates and prevailing wage requirements that apply to all laborers and mechanics employed on the construction site. The contract is valued at $354,050 for a one-year term and is designated as a prevailing wage project. No information regarding bidder meetings, site visits, response dates, or award dates is contained in this wage rate exhibit.

All contractors and subcontractors are required to pay workers no less than the highest of two basic hourly rates established by the California Department of Industrial Relations, along with applicable fringe benefits and per diem rates, in accordance with California Labor Code Section 1770 et seq. Payments must be made unconditionally at least once weekly without deductions except those required by law. Contractors must comply with all applicable California Labor Code provisions, including requirements for work hours, payroll records, and apprenticeship programs. Copies of current General Prevailing Wage Determinations are available at the Authority's offices, and contractors are required to post the wage rates at each job site and include these prevailing wage requirements in all subcontracts regardless of tier.
