2.0 Company Experience
2.1 What market(s) are your current clients primarily in?
As it pertains to customers within Arizona we serve clients across the entire state. Much of our customer base follows the population centers but because our clients include State of Arizona Agencies, K-12 Education, Municipalities, Critical Infrastructure, and many others we provide service and installation for many remote areas of the state on a frequent basis. Over the years we have expanded our presence in Southern and Northern Arizona in order to better serve those customers. In order to better serve our customers and support our expanding operations we moved into an 80,000 sq ft facility in Tempe, AZ which doubled the size of our previous facility. This new facility offers expanded material storage, office space, as well as a fleet service shop.
Nationally, we provide services either through one of our self-performing offices or through our National Accounts group across the entire United States.
2.2 What experience do you have serving clients in business markets within the State of Arizona?
DH Pace has been serving customers in the Arizona market since 2003. We have always served a diverse customer base within the state including key vertical market sectors including; Municipality (State, County, City, Town), K-12 Education, Higher Education, Healthcare, Critical Infrastructure, Data Centers, Industrial/Manufacturing, Commercial Office Space, Large Corporations, Property Managers, Developers, General
Contractors, and many others.
2.3 What is the range in size of your current clients?
Our customers range in size from the individual home owner to some of the largest private employers, government agencies, and public sector customers within the State of Arizona. This includes transaction sizes that may range from a few dollars to millions of dollars.
2.4 Provide two (2) examples that exhibit your experience with Materials or Services for clients relevant to the
Scope of Work? Provide supporting documentation as a separate attachment and title the document:
“Attachment - Company Experience”.
Two of the most relevant examples that exhibit DH Pace’s experience would be our nearly 10 years holding two different contracts with the State of Arizona for the same or similar products while also including the labor necessary to complete the service, installation, and maintenance. These contracts include CTR055591 Repair, Replacement, and Preventative Maintenance of Doors & Gates and CTR056381 Security Protection Systems. We have included information directly from the State of Arizona Procurement site as part of the supporting documentation “Attachment – Company Experience.” We were originally awarded contracts by the State of
Arizona for these same products and services back in 2016. Those contracts were extended by the State of
Arizona through their maximum term of 5 years. In 2021, we were then fortunate enough to again be selected by the State of Arizona for both contracts and each has been extended to their maximum term and set to expire in mid to late 2026. During those past ten years we have completed service, installation, and maintenance for all types of doors, door hardware, gate systems, and security systems for a multitude of State Agencies across the entire state. These agencies include, but are not limited to, Arizona Department of Transportation, Arizona Department of Economic Security, Arizona Department of Public Safety, and Arizona Department of Administration just to name a few. We take great pride in the fact that the State of Arizona and its agencies have entrusted us over the last 10 years as a chosen partner. That partnership under these contracts ranges from supply only orders, to service calls, to maintenance services, to both small and large scale installation projects. As part of that partnership we look to bring value to the state by providing a broad range of best in class products, skilled and professional employees, and an expansive geographical coverage area that serves the entire state.
2.5 In the last five (5) years, did any of your clients cancel their contracts with your company? If “yes”, why? Please provide as much detail as possible.
DH Pace has not had any public sector client cancel a contract for performance reasons within the State of
Arizona. In fact, we currently hold two contracts currently with the State of Arizona itself for the supply, installation, service, and maintenance of the materials incorporated within this RFP. This includes contract numbers CTR056381 Security and Protection Systems and CTR055591 Repair, Replacement, and Maintenance of
Doors & Gates. In addition to these contracts DH Pace holds multiple other contracts with different municipalities and Co-Operative Purchasing Agreements.
2.6 With what relevant trade and/or professional associations are you involved? How does this participation give you an advantage over your competition?
