About this file
This is an attachment document related to a Request for Proposals issued by the California Department of Public Health (DPH) for as-needed radiation safety consulting services. The solicitation seeks qualified firms to provide a Radiation Safety Officer to support DPH's compliance with radiation safety regulations, nuclear medicine program development, personnel dosimetry oversight, training, documentation management, and consultation during regulatory inspections. The RFP was published on September 11, 2026, with a pre-proposal conference scheduled for September 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM PT via Microsoft Teams. The deadline for submitting questions is September 29, 2026, at 5:00 PM PT, with a Question and Answer addendum expected on October 6, 2026. Proposals are due by October 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM PT, and the estimated award announcement is November 13, 2026. The contract is expected to commence on March 1, 2027.
The file does not contain specific information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, or detailed funding requirements. However, the solicitation indicates that the services are essential to enable DPH's continued compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and to support the development of future radiation-producing services as outlined in the scope of work. The document appears to be a compliance or requirements attachment supporting the overall RFP, though additional documentation would be necessary to determine final contract value, renewal options, and specific performance requirements.
