About this file

This is a Cost Breakdown attachment for the Minneapolis Convention Center (MCC) Security Services RFP issued by the City of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The document provides a structured cost template for vendors to submit detailed pricing for security operations at the city-owned and operated facility. The cost breakdown establishes a standardized format requiring proposers to itemize expenses across multiple cost categories and service components, ensuring transparent and comparable pricing submissions from all bidders. The template enables the City to evaluate total cost of ownership and identify cost drivers associated with delivering comprehensive security services at the convention center facility.

The cost breakdown attachment serves as a critical evaluation tool that allows the City to assess pricing competitiveness and ensure all proposals address the same scope of services with equivalent line-item detail. By requiring vendors to populate the structured cost breakdown, the City can conduct meaningful price comparisons across proposals and identify any gaps or inconsistencies in how bidders have interpreted the security services requirements. This standardized approach supports fair and equitable evaluation of all submitted proposals while facilitating the City's budget review process and award decision.
