About this file

This document outlines accessibility requirements for information and communication technology support and services contracts. It specifies that any ICT support documentation and services provided to federal agencies must conform with revised Section 508 standards on electronic and information accessibility for people with disabilities. Contractors must ensure supported ICT accommodates users with diverse abilities including those without vision, with limited vision or color perception, without hearing or speech, and with limited motor control, reach or strength. Modes of operation must not require abilities the user does not possess. Documentation and services are also required to provide information on required accessibility and compatibility features, and support staff must accommodate communication needs of users with disabilities.
