About this file
This document is a procedural guideline issued by the New Jersey State House Complex for conducting background checks on all persons contracted to perform work at state-authorized projects within the complex facilities. The procedure involves the New Jersey State Police (NJSP) conducting searches of the Criminal History Records Information (CHRI) database and the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database. The State House Complex encompasses five locations at 125, 225, and 135 West State Street, the State House Annex at 145 West State Street, and the State House Garage at 165 West State Street in Trenton, New Jersey. The employer of record is identified as Mabel P. Almonte Bakshi at the Department of the Treasury, DPM&C.
The background check process requires candidates to schedule fingerprinting appointments through IdentoGo using service code 2F1BF3. Candidates must provide employer information exactly as specified and retain their completed IdentoGo forms. Upon fingerprinting, candidates obtain a PCN/TCN number and provide this information to designated state personnel including Jasmine L. Morris and Mabel Almonte-Bakshi at the Treasury Department. Additional notification is required to Andrea DiGiuseppe, Joe Hillman, and the State House Buildings and Maintenance office with the applicant's name and completed appointment date. Valid identification documents required for enrollment include driver's licenses, passports, government-issued ID cards, or similar identification containing a photograph. Candidates may contact Joe Hillman or Andrea DiGiuseppe at 609-777-4411 for questions or concerns regarding the background check procedure.
