About this file
This attachment is a geographic mapping document for the New York State Department of Health's Request for Applications (RFA #20770) regarding the Migrant and Seasonal Worker Program. The file identifies three economic development regions eligible for funding under Component 1 of the program: the Capital Region (serving Albany, Columbia, Greene, Saratoga, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Warren, and Washington counties), the Mohawk Valley (serving Fulton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Oneida, Otsego, and Schoharie counties), and the North Country (serving Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties). The RFA seeks applications from qualified public and not-for-profit, community-based health and human service organizations to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services to Migrant and Seasonal Workers and their families in these designated regions.
The total funding available for the four-year contract period is $1,405,724, equating to $351,431 annually. The program is funded through both New York State and federal sources and represents the Department's commitment to maintaining existing service capacity while improving health outcomes for this vulnerable population through a health equity framework.
